COLLABORATION WITH US UNIVERSITIES IN DESIGNING A STUDY PROGRAM IN VIDEO GAME DEVELOPMENT

Mario Konecki, PhD, associate professor at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, visited two US universities in April and May in order to establish collaboration on the Edu4Games project.

During his visits to New York University and Pennsylvania State University, Konecki held a series of meetings on the topic of collaboration between the New York University and the University of Zagreb on the Edu4Games project of designing a graduate program in video game development. During his visit to the United States, Konecki talked with the representatives from the Penn State University about the possibility of their students coming to the University of Zagreb to educate precisely in the field of video game development and the use of video games in education, with the aim of strengthening the University of Zagreb's international cooperation with universities in the US.
